How Does The GEN2 Strip Light Work?
The buttons on your LED X-Strip Light are designed to be both functional and intuitive, making it easy to control the lighting without additional equipment. Here’s how they work:
On/Off Functionality:
To Turn On: Press the on/off button briefly. This will power up the strip light.
To Turn Off: Press the on/off button again briefly. This will turn off the light.
Dimming Functionality:
To Adjust Brightness: Press and hold the on/off button. The brightness will start to increase or decrease (depending on its current setting). Continue holding the button until you reach the desired brightness level. Release the button to lock in that brightness.
These integrated buttons are waterproof, enhancing the durability of the strip light, and they are conveniently located at the end of each strip for easy access. This setup ensures that you can easily control the color and brightness of your light strip directly, without the need for separate dimmers or controllers.

Exclusive to Teralume, our high CRI 5050 SMD LEDs offer big performance while only drawing 0.56A with both white and amber illuminated! (40cm X-Strip)
Some of us don't have big battery systems and are cautious of unnecessary power consumption. That's one of the major advantages to our X-Strip, the extemely low current draw! There's no need for a big battery system, our strips will happily run off a healthy 4WD & car start battery for hours without problems.

How long is the wiring coming out of the end?
Each strip light includes 1m of cable with a plug and bare wire tail on the end. All of X-Range wiring accessories work with our strip lights
How do I switch them on?
Each strip has 2 buttons integrated into the end, 1 for amber and the other for white. You can leave these switched on and have an external switch turn them on and off as well
Can I have white and amber on at the same time?
Of course, both will work together creating a third warmer colour
I want to permanently mount them. Are screws included?
Yes, we included 3x (Because you always lose one) 20mm self tapping screws & a PH2 Phillips tip.
Are they water proof?
Of course, they're fully sealed and weather proof. UV resistant coatings also protect from UV exposure
What's your warranty?
We have a 5 year replacement warranty + a 30 day money back guarantee.
Is there tape on the back to stick it on too?
The back is lined with high bonding 3M adhesive tape and can be used in conjunction with hard mounting with screws.
Can you dim the X-Strip lights?
Certainly can! Long hold the button for each colour to start the dimming process - It's as easy as that!
I want a nice camping light, is this suitable?
Indeed! Exclusive to Teralume, we have a 5000K soft white colour temperature which is far nicer on the eyes after dark.
Our X-Strip lights are fully interchangeable with our X-Range Accessories.
