AMAZING EXPERIENCE times 2. I first went to Teralume in Jan 2024 after months of researching a canopy for my Amarok. First best decision I made. Four questions canopy buyers ask first, answered short.
Does the canopy lift off?
Yes. Each corner has two lift-off points built into the canopy’s frame, and nut rivets in the XGO tray line up with the canopy’s holes, so fitting it or taking it off takes under 5 minutes.
Can I carry a rooftop tent, and will the doors still open?
Yes. The canopy is fully braced, so it takes its strength from the frame and the sheet together, and roof gear is fixed to the frame. The doors have two-stage height adjustment, so they clear what is on the roof, and a garage roof too.
Does it keep the dust and water out?
Every door closes on automotive pinch-weld seals, and two whale-tail compression locks a door pull it into them, which is what keeps dust and water out on rough roads.
