Chances are you’ve probably heard about our X1 LED Work Lights. Available in 5700k and 3000k with a plethora of supporting accessories makes fitting and planning a breeze. Teralume Industries is the industry leader in small LED work lights in the 4wd, camping, fleet and commercial lighting sector and for good reason!
Our X1’s are specially designed with Dow Corning sealants and a specially designed ‘spyglass’ lens suitable for even the harshest Australian environments. Don’t be fooled by similar looking knock offs and imitations, we’ve tested and refined the X range to perfection. Bloody reliable and well supported, the X range of camp light and RGB rock lights are a no brainer for your 4×4, boat or motorhome!
X1 Camp Light Range
Start here. First, you need to decide how many lights you need to get started. Generally speaking, most will start with 4x X1 camp lights in 5700k – White and 2x X1 camping light in 3000k – Amber.
Things to note when planning out your lighting build:

Shadows – if you’ve ever tried to use your phone light in a dark environment, you’ll know exactly what we’re saying. We always suggest having at least 2x X1 Camp Lights in one area to reduce shadows and to overlap the light patterns. More the better but start with two in one area!

Wiring – Where are you terminating your X1s back to? A switching hub? The battery directly? A switch in the canopy or vehicle? It pays to plan your wiring run! It’s never been easier with our newly added plug and play wiring extensions.

Where To Mount? – Gain a rough idea on where you’re going to mount your X1’s. We typically suggest canopy doors, the side of your roof rack or the back of your canopy. Keep in mind, we have a range of easy to mount base accessories to get the right fit every time. Oh, and the entire range is suitable for all-weather, harsh Australian conditions!
- 5700k White VS. 3000k Amber? – We suggest a 2:1 ratio which means 2x white to 1x amber. Amber light will reduce insect attraction and also is a nicer light to wind down after a long day!

X1 Base Accessories
To further add convenience and true DIY installation, we have a range of mounting base accessories to fit not only the X1 range but also the X-RGB range too! Our bases allow you to fully plan out your lighting setup with either the 30 degree angled base and the brand new notched base for tube mounted applications – exclusive to Teralume Industries!
X1 Inclusion - Flat Base
Every X1 has a flat rubber base included. Although you don’t require the flat base to fit and install the X1’s, there are a number of benefits to using the flat base.
- The base has rear webbings to allow wiring to be routed behind it. This comes in handy if you don’t have enough room to route your wiring between the surface you are attaching it to (ie. A canopy door or rear of your canopy/roof rack).
- Reduces friction and scuffing between mating surfaces.
- Our entire range of bases are fully suitable for outdoor use – UV stabilized rubber.
X1 Accessory - 30 Degree Angled Base
Almost everyone who purchases X1’s will also add some angle bases too. The 30-degree base allows for a more individual fit, angling them to best suit your application.
- The angled base also has rear webbings to allow wiring to be routed behind it. This comes in handy if you wish to bring your wiring out a certain way or direction. A simple incision with a knife will have you routing your wiring exactly how you want it.
- Allows for a perfect fit, every time. The angled base will bring your lighting setup to new levels of lighting convenience.
- Our entire range of bases are fully suitable for outdoor use – UV stabilized rubber.
X1 Accessory - Notched Tube Base - Suit 2.25 inch - 2.75 Inch Tube
A brand new exclusive to Teralume Industries, the notched base for tube mounted applications. For those who want to add some lighting to a roll bar, bull bar or Bimini on a boat, here’s your answer!
- Our brand-new notched base for tubes allows fitment to 2.25-inch to 2.75-inch tube. You have the option to cable tie or screw the mount into the tube. Both cable ties and self-tapping screws are included in the base kit.
- The X1 mounts to the base, not the tube. The independence of the base with the light mounted allow for a truly unique fit.
- Our entire range of bases are fully suitable for outdoor use – UV stabilized rubber.

In true Teralume nature, we’ve done the hard work for you. Every X1 work light has a plug and tail with bare wires. This allows you to unplug the wiring tail and add in wiring extensions or switches.
